International School Altdorf is pleased to announce that it has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer the Career-related Programme, starting from August 2022.
International School Altdorf is thus strengthening its IB education philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students.
The IB Career-related Programme at International School Altdorf will have a professional focus on academic pathways related to Languages, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting and International Tourism Management.
The goal of our IB Career-related Programme will be to help students to deepen their understanding in specific areas of knowledge through their Diploma Programme courses, while developing a range of broad work-related competencies in varied contexts.
In addition, International School Altdorf has developed a specific Service Learning program for these students, in collaboration with the United Nations (UN) World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) International Center in Switzerland.
